What is a quality system?

A quality system is a mode of quality governance, the processes that implement and monitor it, and the resources that allow actors to bring the system to life and experience and benefit from it.

At UCLouvain, the quality of education system is part of an institution-wide quality policy. This policy is embodied in multi-year projects supported by the Rectors' Council. Horizon 600 is the 2021-2025 strategic plan.

The UCLouvain quality of education system rests on European quality assurance recommendations, the ESG: European Standard and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
